Learn to surf in a youth group lesson at Holden Beach! We will patiently teach students how to standup and ride the waves. There is a 3:1 instructor to student ratio and these group lessons are exclusive to those 15 years and younger. Through beach “pop-up” demonstrations, brief ocean safety tutorials, extended surf time and friendly guidance, each and every student will be riding waves in no time. The lessons are held on the beach at 441 Ocean Blvd W, NC 28462, to the left of the Holden Beach pier. You will see the truck parked on the beach.Early arrival is suggested. You can pay for public parking but it is limited. It maybe best to be dropped off. An instructor will be in the water with the students, helping them guide through the break and set up for incoming waves.
-In the event that only one student registers, their reservation will be converted and up-charged as a private lesson($85)-

Customers will receive a full refund, except for a $10 processing fee, with at least 48 hours notice of cancellation. Within 48hrs, the cost will be refunded except for a 30$ processing fee for each reservation. Weather based cancellations/postponements will be made by staff at Carolina School of Surf the morning of the lesson. Inclement weather includes severe wind, lightning storms, and/or tropical storm or hurricane watches. In the event of these weather conditions, we will reschedule your lesson for another time.
