Location: 44 East 1st Street, in front of the Ocean Isle Beach Community Center
Learn to Surf at Ocean Isle Beach! Join our adult group surf lessons (ages 16+) at Ocean Isle Beach and ride the waves with confidence! Our patient instructors tailor each lesson to your needs, ensuring a fun and successful experience. With a low 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio, you’ll receive personalized attention as you master the art of surfing.
Your lesson includes:
-Land technique demonstrations
-Brief ocean safety tutorials
-Extended surf time with friendly guidance and knowledge
We meet on the beach next to the volleyball nets at 44 East 1st Street. Paid public parking is available but limited, so consider getting dropped off if possible.
Additional Information:
-Solo registrations will be converted to a private lesson ($25 upcharge)
-We accommodate any group size upon request
-Age requirement: 16+ | Weight limit: 230 lbs

Waiver, Inclement Weather, Change & Cancelation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund, minus a $10 processing fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson will be refunded, less a $30 processing fee per reservation.
Weather-related cancellations or postponements will be determined by Carolina School of Surf staff. Inclement weather conditions include severe winds, lightning storms, and tropical storm or hurricane watches. If these conditions occur, we will happily reschedule your lesson for a more suitable time at no additional cost.
Please note that no-shows will be charged the full lesson price.
